What is new, and what we are hoping you will tell us

This is the page for people who already have it. Every other page here is trying to persuade somebody to download the suite; this one assumes you did, and is the only way we have of saying anything to you afterwards.

  • Release · 8 September 2026

Version 1.0 is out, for Windows

The first release is published: an installer and a portable build, both 64-bit Windows. Seven applications in one download — mail, documents, spreadsheets, slides, pictures, image editing and video.

macOS and Linux build from the same source with one command each, and no signed binaries are published for them yet. That is the honest state rather than a roadmap promise.

If you are using it, we would like to know

There is no telemetry in this suite, which is deliberate and which means we genuinely cannot tell whether anybody is running it. The only signals we have are the ones people choose to send.

So: if it opened your files, tell us. If it mangled one, tell us that instead and we will want the file. Either is more useful than silence, and the second is more useful than the first.

    How to report something useful

  • Worth knowing · 8 September 2026

The Windows builds are not signed yet

SmartScreen will warn you on first run, and it is telling you the truth: the publisher is unverified. Check the file against the release page, or build it from source, which takes four commands and no toolchain.

Code signing is a certificate and a process rather than a feature, and it is not done. Until it is, this notice is the alternative to letting people discover it at the moment they are deciding whether to trust us.

    Build it yourself

Tell us how it went

There is no telemetry in this suite, so we genuinely cannot tell whether anybody is running it. Anything you say here is a signal we do not otherwise have — including “it worked”, which is the one nobody thinks to send.

It reaches one inbox at Rutba and goes nowhere else. Nothing is sent to any address you type here.

Being straight about it

What opening this page tells us

A page about honesty that was vague about its own instrumentation would be an odd thing to publish.

  • The application did not send you here. It makes one network call — the update check — and that is a switch. Nothing in the suite fetches or opens this page, and if that ever changes it will be a setting, it will be on the privacy page, and you will be told on first run.
  • This is a website, so it has website analytics. Nothing loads until you accept the notice at the foot of the page, and if you decline we count nothing at all. That is the same deal every page here offers.
  • The form is the real signal. Because the software reports nothing, the only way we learn that a version works is somebody saying so. That is a genuinely worse instrument than telemetry and we would rather have it than the alternative.

Something urgent or reproducible? The issue tracker is better than this form for anything with a file attached or a stack trace in it — open an issue. This page is for the things that are not quite a bug report.
